Description

There's nothing hush-hush about the contents of Hangar 1301 these days. Once the site of secret rocket research during World War II, this historic hangar now houses the Air Mobility Command Museum, a facility open to the public and packed with both old planes and informative exhibits. Relive the Berlin Airlift, learn about old plane engines and refueling, and spot historic aircraft, from the UH-1 Huey hehlicopter to the big C-119G Flying Boxcar as you tour this aircraft oriented museum.
