Description

Learn more about the farmer's life over the history of Delaware at the Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village, a museum complex that includes not just vintage farm equipment but also historic buildings, like a barbershop, quaint country church and old schoolhouse. Explore displays in the main Exhibit Hall for a glimpse of how invention and innovation have changed farming, following the rise of machines, from tractor to airplane. Part of the main exhibit hall is also turned over to fine and decorative arts, so look for traditional crafts like hand woven baskets as well as oil paintings and pottery.
