Summer brings bikini-clad throngs to the seaside towns like Rehoboth and Dewey Beach on the Deleware shore, busy watering holes, boardwalk attractions and bronzen bodies the bar by which the day's activities are set.
Henderson's founder, Joseph R. Brown set aside land for a public park in 1855. The park provides 18 developed campsites with electrical hookups, all of those with water, a picnic shelter with rest rooms and shower facilities, play ground equipment and walking trail. From the park, an excellent view of the city and the Minnesota River Valley can be enjoyed.
