Valley Forge, Pennsylvania Travel Guide

Complete Vacation, Recreation and Tourism Information

Valley Forge is a small village in the Brandywine Valley region in southeastern Pennsylvania. The historic site of General Washington's encampment during the Revolutionary War, Valley Forge National Historical Park has a six mile hike and bike trail as well as ten miles of horse paths.

Biking is also available through several other long biking trails in the area including the Schuylkill River Trail. There is a winery, antique shops, farmer's markets and orchards all within the confines of this small town.

The feel of Valley Forge is very much tied to the historical context it represents. A somber reverence generates a true feel for all the area represents of our U.S. history.

Valley Forge is accessible through Route 76 West.
