Dover is the state capital of Delaware with a population of 34,000 residents. Dover has a new Amish community in the area, and is surrounded by Amish farms. It is also the host of the NASCAR Winston Cup twice a year. Dover is the home to Delaware State University as well as Dover Air Force Base, one of the largest employers in the area.

New Castle is notably the "Fireworks Capital of the World" and Kennedy Square, the center of town has a Civil War monument nearby is McConnell's Mill State Park and Raccoon Creek State Park. Both are an oasis for hunting, fishing, rafting, hiking and climbing with miles of trails, paths and creeks.

Newark is the largest city in New Jersey, with a population of nearly 300,000 people, of largely diverse backgrounds from African American to Latino and Portuguese. Just five miles from Manhattan, it's a commuter city, with thousands of people trekking into the city for work each day via NJ Transit. The neighborhoods of Newark are divided into five wards, (north, south, east, west and central) comprised of 21 neighborhoods, each reflective of the heritages of the people who inhabit them. Downtown Newark has been urbanized and given a re-education in the arts over the years, offering tourists a variety of theater and restaurant options that reflect the city's strong ethnic composition.

Rehoboth Beach calls itself the "Nation's Summer Capital" due to the large number of Washington, D.C. residents that vacation here annually. The Boardwalk at Rehoboth is crowded and lined with rides, food stands, and souvenir and beach themed shops. Dewey Beach, the next door neighbor to Rehoboth, is best known as having a loud, party atmosphere with the nightlife playing a strong hand in its desirability. Known as the "Quiet Resort," Bethany Beach is the residential answer to Rehoboth. A quiet beach town, this area to the south of Rehoboth offers pretty beaches and an atmosphere for a peaceful getaway.

Wilmington is the largest city in the state of Delaware with a population of over 72,000 people. Considered the "Corporate Capital of the World," Wilmington is the designated home for over half of the nation's Fortune 500 companies, and is one of the richest cities in the country. Wilmington offers an array of activities from a day at the Brandywine Park and Zoo, to an evening at the opera, the symphony or the Delaware Theater Company.
